I started my career from the ground up...quite literally, in the dirt!
Working on archaeological digs taught me something a classroom never could: I learn best through experience. There is profound power in touching the "stuff" of history. Feeling an artifact in my hands and imagining the lives, loves, and laughter of those who held it centuries before me awakened a lifelong passion for experiential learning.
I soon found myself asking: Where else can people connect with history and with each other in such an authentic, hands-on way? The answer was museums. For over 30 years, I have dedicated my career to bridging that gap, creating immersive environments, interactive storytelling, and meaningful encounters.

I create experiences that are memorable, meaningful, and impactful.
Museums achieve their highest purpose when doing, thinking, and learning come together to create a holistic, unforgettable journey.
I work with my clients as a bridge-builder between mission and experience helping them to envision and bring to life unique, innovative and learner-centered experiences. Every project I lead, from single-day festivals to permanent museum galleries begins with the same three vital questions:

I have my Master's Degree in Teaching in Museum Education from The George Washington University.
I'm an adjunct professor at John's Hopkins University in the Museum Studies Program.
I advise emerging professionals through the GW Museum Education Program, AAM, JHU and and MAAM.

I am the Vice President of the Mid Atlantic Association of Museums (MAAM).
I have co-chaired the MAAM Building Museums Symposium.
I have served as senior leadership at KID Museum, International Spy Museum, National Building Museum, Discovery Creek Children's Museum.

I bring years of creative exhibit, interactive and program development to your project. I am passionately committed to making mission-related content, concepts and skill building come to life in museum spaces. Check out my projects page to see my prior work.
I am also adept at coalescing support from community groups, civic leaders, industry and philanthropists.
