Exhibit Development

Discovery Creek Children's Museum: The Rolling Rainforest

This immersive mobile exhibit in a 52-Foot tractor trailer simulated a life-like rainforest with plant and animal species, a river, scientist's hut and mini Mayan archeological site.  Travelling to schools throughout out the DC area and nation-wide, associated STEM activities supported curriculum standards and inspired conservation-minded decision-making.

International Spy Museum: Tools of the Trade

With over 200 artifacts representing 5 themes, I developed this exhibit with the philosophy that spy gadgets represent the solutions to the problems and challenges that spies face in the field.  Each area features a profile of an "innovator" who thought "outside of the box" to create the artifacts seen in the cases.  Tactile objects were 3D printed to increase accessibility and a digital interactive linked to the RFID-enabled Undercover Mission provided opportunities for visitors to select gadgets to use on their customized mission.

International Spy Museum: The Canadian Caper

Working with Tony and Joanna Mendez to tell the story that inspired the film Argo involved gathering never-before seen artifacts, historic documents and testimonial that influenced a first person voice approach to the award-winning label text.

International Spy Museum: Exquisitely Evil

As a key member of the exhibit team, I was the creative lead on the interactives experiences in this exhibit which included a series of Be Like Bond physical challenges (Hang Time, Atomic Countdown, and Spy vs. Spy), and a very scary Shark Tank experience (see photo and videos below).

Shark Tank Experience: Exquisitely  Evil exhibition

International Spy Museum: Operation Spy

Supported conceptualization and development of this THEA winning, hour-long immersive experience. Set in a fictional country, groups of 15 participants, led by a staff officer, were took on the role of temporary duty intelligence officers trying to find who had stolen a nuclear trigger device. Their tension filled, interactive experience required completing audio and video surveillance, cracking codes, infiltrating an office to collect clues, a truck and helicopter “escape.”
